Details
Function: Contains the IR receiver sensor that receives signals from the remote control as well as the LED indicators/status lights for the indoor unit.
Symptoms of failure: The heat pump does not respond at all to the remote control (despite new batteries and a working remote), or the status lights flash incorrectly/do not light up.
Mounting: Placed behind the front panel/display window on the indoor unit and connects with a quick connector to the main circuit board (PCB).
